About This Scheme

The "Scheme for Assistance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)" is an umbrella scheme launched by the Industries and Mines Department, Gujarat. It aims to empower the state's dynamic MSME sector, which significantly contributes to employment, GDP, and exports. Effective from August 7th, 2020 to August 6th, 2025, this initiative supports entrepreneurs and strengthens MSMEs, making them globally competitive. The component "Assistance for Power Connection Charges" provides financial assistance to MSMEs (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) that are located outside GIDC (Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation) or other approved industrial parks.

What You Get

  • Quantum of Assistance: 35% of charges paid to distribution licenses for LT (Low Tension)/HT(High Tension) service line, maximum limit up to ₹5,00,000/-.

Am I Eligible?

You may be eligible if all of these are true for you.

  • The firm must be a Micro/Small/Medium enterprise.
  • The unit must be located outside GIDC or an approved industrial park.
  • The applicant must have paid power connection charges to the distribution licensee during the scheme's operative period.
  • The application for reimbursement must be submitted within one year of payment.

  1. 1 Registration Process: Step-1: Visit the Investor Facilitation Portal (IFP) portal. Click on "New Investor Registration" to access the registration form.
  2. 2 Step-2: Fill in the Registration Form. Click on "Submit".
  3. 3 Step-3: Verify the E-mail ID using the link sent on your registered E-mail ID.
  4. 4 Step-4: After verification, you will be registered successfully.
  5. 5 Post-Registration Process: Step-1: Visit the Investor Facilitation Portal (IFP) portal. Click on "Login".
  6. 6 Step-2: Enter the email address and password you used during registration.
  7. 7 Step-3: Click the "Login" button to access your account.
  8. 8 Step-4: Now fill in the required details and mandatory documents about your business to complete the application process.
