About This Scheme
The scheme "Schemes for Welfare of School Children Belonging to BPL and BC(A) families: Monthly Stipend for BPL Students" was launched by the Government of Haryana during the financial year 2009-10. - Class 1 to 5: ₹150/- per month
- Class 6 to 8: ₹200/- per month
- Class 9 to 12: ₹300/- per month
- Class 11 to 12 (Science Students only): ₹400/- per month
- A. For Boy Students:
- Class 1 to 5: ₹75/- per month
- Class 6 to 8: ₹100/- per month
- Class 9 to 12: ₹150/- per month
- Class 11 to 12 (Science Students only): ₹200/- per month
- Mode of Disbursement:
- Direct transfer to students' bank accounts.
- Frequency of Disbursement:
- Monthly basis.
- Expected Time of Disbursement:
- Funds to be transferred at the beginning of each quarter.
- Validity:
- Applicable for the duration of the academic session.
- Attendance criteria: Minimum 50% attendance required for next installment
Am I Eligible?
You may be eligible if all of these are true for you.
The applicant should belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. The applicant should be a student From Classes 1 to The applicant should be enrolled in a Haryana Government school. The applicant should maintain at least 50% attendance to continue receiving benefits. The applicant should have an active bank account for stipend transfer.
Final eligibility is decided by the government department handling this scheme.
Who Cannot Apply?
Applications are commonly rejected for these reasons, so check them before you start.
- The applicant who does not maintain 50% attendance will not receive the next instalment.
- The applicant not studying in a Haryana Government school is ineligible.
