About This Scheme

The scheme "Vishesh Yogyajan Sukhad Dampatya Jeevan Yojana" was launched by the Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan, in The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to specially-abled individuals to support a happy married life after marriage. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹50,000/- per couple is provided. Additionally, ₹20,000/- is given as event expenses to organizations that organize marriage events for specially-abled individuals. The scheme is implemented by the Directorate of Specially-Abled Persons in the state.

Am I Eligible?

You may be eligible if all of these are true for you.

• The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.
• The applicant should be a specially-abled individual (male or female).
• The applicant should possess a disability certificate with 40% or more disability, issued by a Medical Officer or Medical Board.
• The groom should be at least 21 years old, and the bride should be at least 18 years old.
• The applicant’s family income from all sources should not exceed ₹2,50,000/- per year.

Final eligibility is decided by the government department handling this scheme.

How to Apply

1. 1 The interested applicant should visit the office of the Block Social Security Officer or District Social Welfare Officer and request a copy of the application form from the staff exclusively entrusted to issue and collect filled-in applications.
2. 2 In the application form, fill in all the mandatory fields and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).
3. 3 Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the concerned office.
4. 4 Request a receipt or acknowledgment from the concerned office to whom the application has been submitted. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission and a unique identification number (if applicable).
